Baseball WA will be hosting two-time World Series winner and former Major League infielder Ozzie Guillen during his stint in WA. The slick-fielding Venezuelan is most known for his glove work as a shortstop for the Chicago White Sox, where he played 13 of his 16 years in the major leagues.
On Monday 3 March, Ozzie will be conducting an infield session with a group of WA's infield prospects at Barbagallo Ballpark.
Jett Wright (yr 9) and Josh Rawlinson (yr 11) have been invited to attend this session as talented development players, along with co-ordinator Mr Kyle as a coach.
"Jett, Josh and I are very thankful to be given an opportunity to work with Ozzie. He comes with a wealth of MLB experience and knowledge. We are looking forward to being 'sponges' and getting as much out of the session as possible".
